Privacy policy

TwainPay collects account details, venue settings, bill and payment references, optional payer name and email, device/network security signals, and support communications. Card details are collected by Stripe or Square and are not stored by TwainPay.

We use information to provide receipts, operate and secure payments, prevent fraud, support users, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. We disclose data to the relevant venue, payment processor, infrastructure and communications providers only as needed for those purposes.

Records are retained only as long as operational, tax, dispute and legal obligations require. We use access controls, encryption and audit records, but no online system is risk-free.
